Senja Neighbourhood
The K1 children went on a field trip to Senja Neighbourhood as part of their learning experience to explore and understand the community around them. During the neighbourhood walk, the children observed different places and features such as shops, playgrounds, walkways, traffic lights, and community spaces, while also noticing the people working and living in the neighbourhood, such as shopkeepers, cleaners, and residents. Throughout the walk, the children were encouraged to make observations, ask questions, and share their thoughts with their peers and teachers as they gathered information by looking closely at their surroundings and discussing the purpose of different places and facilities within the community.Â
